Accept and build.
Begin with the person and the question in front of you. Acceptance does not require agreement; it creates enough ground for understanding to continue.

THE THIRD THEORY · THE THRESHOLD RULE OF COMMUNICATION AND MORALITY
A lens for meeting objection without becoming its prisoner: receive, ask, hold, build, and return.
This is a lens of observation, not a rule framework or claim.

Spelling and punctuation corrected; the wording remains Nova Nyarindo Newbon Gadson's.
This is a lens of observation, not a rule framework or claim.
The Threshold Rule of Communication and Morality: Always accept and build by asking a question to understand or leaving it open-ended/holding your reservation, learning from the shoulders of giants but always building from the ground, which means offering alternate examples using multiple domains and frames and deflection to avoid giving attacks a wall to bounce off of always.
It's this rule, followed all the way through, that dissolves morality: connection and good are default, wrong is resistance born of skepticism, doubt is just skepticism's disguise. Morality then transfigures into fidelity.
Repeat over and over to practice and make perfect.
When you encounter critique without alternative observation, ignore it because it's noise.
Any time communication breaks, re-read the observation step by step and you will find what happened.
When one learns to use this lens effectively, the answers to any question that arises is the question reframed as an answer.
02 · THE THRESHOLD
Begin with the person and the question in front of you. Acceptance does not require agreement; it creates enough ground for understanding to continue.
Ask a question that opens understanding, or leave the matter open-ended while holding your reservation without turning it into a wall.
Use inherited knowledge, but return to lived evidence. Offer alternative observations across multiple domains and frames.
Do not give an attack a surface that can only return force. Deflection keeps the exchange open without requiring surrender.
03 · FROM MORALITY TO FIDELITY
The lens does not replace moral reasoning with arbitrary preference. It draws attention to what remains when blame, certainty, and defensive judgment stop governing the exchange.
Relationship is treated as the ground from which communication begins.
Opposition is observed as resistance, with doubt often serving as skepticism's public face.
The question changes from “Who is wrong?” to “What am I faithful to while we continue?”
04 · PRACTICE AND REPAIR
Practice the threshold until it becomes available under pressure, not merely persuasive in calm.
Critique without an alternative observation adds no usable observation to the field; the lens names it noise.
When communication breaks, return to the observation step by step. The break becomes visible in the process.
The mature response is not a slogan pasted over the question. It is the question reframed until its answer becomes visible.
THE LENS RETURNS AS A QUESTION
Not a rule imposed on reality—an observation through which reality, relationship, and responsibility can be seen again.
